Bilal ALNEMR
Violonist
Bilal Alnemr was born in Damascus, in Syria. He discovered the violin at a very young age with a small instrument given to him by his father, and developed a passion for classical music, winning national competitions in Syria at the age of 11. Spotted by French teachers, he joined the Conservatoire d’Aix-en-Provence in 2010 and went on to study in Paris at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse. He then furthered his studies at the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin and performed with prestigious orchestras, including the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. In 2019, he founded the Vauvenargues Festival to thank the village that welcomed him and his family during the war in Syria, and to promote musical exchanges between Syria and the wider world. His journey symbolises art as a vehicle for dialogue between cultures.

Jacques Aschenbroich is a French business executive and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors at Orange from 2022 to 2026. A graduate of the École des Mines, he began his career in the civil service, notably in the Prime Minister’s office in 1987–1988. Physicist, 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics
A graduate of the ENS in Cachan (now ENS-Paris-Saclay), Alain Aspect is a professor at the Institut d’optique–Université Paris-Saclay, an honorary professor at the École Polytechnique, and a research director emeritus at the CNRS. He is a member of the French Academy of Sciences, the French Academy of Technologies, and numerous foreign scientific academies ; and also been a member of the Académie française since 2025.
His work on fundamental quantum phenomena involving photons and atoms has earned him numerous awards in France and abroad, including the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics for his “experiments with entangled photons, which demonstrated the violation of Bell’s inequalities and paved the way for quantum information science”.

Kahina BAHLOUL

Kahina Bahloul is France’s first female imam. Born to a Kabyle father from a family of marabouts and a French mother of Jewish and Catholic heritage, Kahina Bahloul grew up in Algeria, where she witnessed the rise of fundamentalism firsthand. After earning a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies at the École Pratique des Hautes Études, she pursued a Ph.D. on the thought of Ibn Arabi, a 12th-century Sufi theologian and poet. She decided to become more actively involved following the 2015 attacks. She then launched the channel and association “Parle-moi d’islam” (educational online videos on Islam, secularism, and living together). She regularly speaks on topics related to interfaith dialogue, Sufism, and women. Kahina Bahloul has identified as an imam since the spring of 2019. Drawing on classical sources to assert the legitimacy of women serving as imams, leading prayers, and teaching, she founded the Fatima Mosque in 2019, a Sufi-inspired space open to women—whether veiled or not—as well as to non-Muslims. Kahina Bahloul is now active on all fronts, advocating for the possibility of a modern and liberal Islam. Winner of the 2022 Mare Nostrum Prize for "Mon islam, ma liberté" ("My Islam, My Freedom") in 2021). She is also co-author of "Des femmes et des dieux" (2021).

Laura Chaubard is a French mathematician and senior civil servant. A graduate of the École polytechnique and holding a PhD in algorithmics, she began her career at the Direction générale de l’armement, where she worked on artificial intelligence and innovation. A graduate of Sciences Po and ENA, Jean-François Copé began his career at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations before entering politics. Mayor of Meaux since 1995, he has also served as president of the Pays de Meaux Urban Community since 2003. A member of the National Assembly representing Seine-et-Marne from 1995 to 1997 and again from 2007 to 2017, Jean-François Copé held several ministerial posts under President Jacques Chirac: government spokesperson (2002–2007), Secretary of State for Relations with Parliament (2002–2004), Minister Delegate for the Interior (2004), and Minister of the Budget and State Reform (2004–2007). Pierre Corvol holds honorary doctorates from several foreign universities and is Professor Emeritus at the Collège de France. He completed dual training in medicine and science at the Faculty of Medicine and Science in Paris. Appointed as a resident in Paris hospitals in 1966, he subsequently practised clinical cardiology at Broussais Hospital and later at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital. Holder of the Chair of Experimental Medicine (1989–2012), Pierre Corvol served as Director of the Collège de France from 2006 to 2012. He is a member of the French Academy of Sciences, which he chaired in 2019 and 2020, the European Academy of Sciences, the French National Academy of Medicine, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has received several major scientific awards, including the Excellence Award for Hypertension Research (1985), the Inserm Grand Prix (2006), and the Leonardo da Vinci Award (2019).

In 2005, she became Director of Sustainable Development for the Sanofi-Aventis Group. From 2007 to 2012, she served as Chief of Staff to French politician, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, working in various secretaries of state and then at the Ministries of Ecology, Sustainability, Transport and Housing. In 2012, she was appointed Kering’s Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of International Institutional Affairs. Marie Drucker is a journalist, TV and radio host, documentary filmmaker, and producer. After studying modern literature at the Sorbonne and training at the CFPJ (Center for Journalism Training), she began as a freelancer before joining the CAPA news agency. In 1999, she helped launch the news channel i-Télévision within the Canal+ Group, first as a reporter and later as a presenter. From 2005 to 2008, she hosted Soir 3 on France 3, then served as a substitute for Laurent Delahousse on France 2’s weekend news until 2016. In July 2016, she left France 2 to found her own production company, No School Productions, focusing on documentary filmmaking. Denis Duboule received his PhD from the University of Geneva in 1984 and subsequently worked in the LGME laboratory of Professor Pierre Chambon, where he led a research group until 1988. In 1992, he was appointed full professor at the University of Geneva and, in 2006, he was also appointed professor at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. Since 1985, his work has focused on the function and regulation of Hox genes (architect genes) during the development of vertebrate animals. Denis Duboule has also taken an interest in science policy, its funding, and its communication to the general public. Didier Fassin is a French anthropologist, sociologist, and physician who taught at the Faculty of Medicine at Pierre-et-Marie-Curie University. He is renowned for completing the first round-the-world trip in an ultralight aircraft (1984–1987) and for captaining the three-masted ship La Boudeuse, leading scientific and humanitarian expeditions. Awarded the Goncourt Prize for Short Stories in 2015 for "Première personne du singulier", he is also honorary president of the Société des Explorateurs Français and a member of the Écrivains de Marine. Didier Fusillier is a French theater director and cultural manager. Ghada HATEM-GANTZER
Obstetrician-gynaecologist, Founder of La Maison des femmes
Dr Ghada Hatem-Gantzer studied medicine at the Necker–Enfants Malades Faculty of Medicine in Paris, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. She holds a Master’s degree in medical management from ESCP Europe, as well as several university diplomas, notably in violence against women and the legal compensation of personal injury. In 2003, she was appointed Head of Department at the maternity unit of the Bégin Military Hospital. In 2010, she moved to Delafontaine Hospital in Saint-Denis, where she developed innovative care programmes, particularly in infertility and breast cancer, in partnership with the Institut Curie. In 2016, Dr Hatem-Gantzer founded the Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis, the first organisation in France to provide comprehensive care for women who are victims of violence and female genital mutilation. Today, the Maison des Femmes represent more then thirty organisations across the country, in the overseas territories and in Belgium. She received the Simone Veil Prize in 2018.

A graduate in law from Université Paris II and CELSA, Claire Hédon began her career in radio (France Bleu, RFI, France Inter). From 2003 to 2017, she hosted "Priorité santé" (Health Priority) on RFI and later became head of magazine programs. Her commitment to social justice began in 1992 with ATD Quart Monde, where she fought against extreme poverty and for access to rights. Starting as a volunteer and later becoming a leader, she was elected president in 2015, driving major advancements such as the recognition of social precarity as a form of discrimination and the Territoires zéro chômeur (Zero Unemployment Territories) project. A member of national bodies, she was appointed France’s Defender of Rights in 2020, continuing her fight for the dignity and equality of the most vulnerable.
Serge HEFEZ
Serfe Hefez, psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and author
Serge Hefez heads the family therapy unit in the child and adolescent psychiatry department at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris. As an HIV specialist, he also directs the Social and Psychological Support Center for People Affected by AIDS (Espas) and works at the National Institute for Health Education and on issues related to substance abuse. He is the creator of several television documentary series, including Psyché and Accro on France 5. In 2023, he was appointed by the Minister of Solidarity, Aurore Bergé, as co-chair of a commission on parenting intended to address the crisis brought to light by the riots that followed the death of Nahel Merzouk. The author of numerous books, he published “La Danse du couple”(2002) with Danièle Laufer, as well as “La fabrique de la famille” (2016). Finally, for the past decade, he has been conducting specialized counseling sessions for young people undergoing gender transition. Sociologist, emeritus research director at the CNRS
Nathalie Heinich is a sociologist, emeritus research director at the CNRS, a member of the CRAL, and an associate member of the LAHIC. She holds a Ph.D. from the EHESS on the social history of the concept of the artist and specializes in the sociology of artistic professions and cultural practices. Her work also focuses on identity crises, the epistemology of the social sciences, and the sociology of values. Rémy Heitz is a prominent French magistrate. He began his legal career in 1989 as a deputy prosecutor at the Pontoise District Court. He quickly rose through the ranks, joining the Ministry of Justice’s Criminal Affairs and Pardons Directorate in 1992 and later becoming chief of staff to Pascal Clément, then a junior minister in the French government. In 1999, he was appointed Public Prosecutor in Saint-Malo.

From September 2021 until his appointment to the Court of Cassation in 2023, he served as Attorney General at the Paris Court of Appeal. A graduate of the École normale supérieure, Ivan Jablonka is a member of the Institut universitaire de France. He is co-director of the “La République des Idées” series published by Seuil and co-founder of the online journal La Vie des Idées. A specialist in social and contemporary history, he conducts research on childhood, memory, and social violence, while developing a form of writing that blends historical inquiry with literary narrative. His books, translated into several languages, have received numerous awards. Haïm KORSIA
Chief Rabbi of France
Since 2014, he has served as the Chief Rabbi of France. From 2005 to 2009, he was a member of the National Consultative Ethics Committee and served as Secretary General of the French Rabbinate Association. Initially the rabbi of Reims, he became the General Israeli Chaplain of the French Air Force in 2000, later extending this role to all branches of the military from 2007 to 2014.

A senior French civil servant specializing in cultural and heritage policies, Marie-Christine Labourdette is a graduate of the École nationale d’administration (ENA) and Sciences Po Paris. A graduate of the Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan Military Academy, Louis Laugier began his career as an Army officer, serving as a platoon leader in a battalion of Alpine Hunters. French diplomat and senior civil servant Anne-Claire Legendre is a recognized expert on the Maghreb and the Middle East, trained at Sciences Po and the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales. After beginning her career at the French Embassy in Yemen, she held key positions, including at France’s Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, and as an advisor for North Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Élysée Palace. Appointed Ambassador to Kuwait in 2020 and later Director of Communications for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2021, she became, in February 2026, the first woman to lead the Institut du monde arabe, succeeding Jack Lang. A senior heritage curator, Hervé Lemoine joined the Army Historical Service in 1996, where he became Deputy Director of Archives and Libraries. In January 2009, he took over as Director of the Musée des Monuments français and of the Heritage Department at the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, where he curated several exhibitions. Blanche Leridon is a political scientist and an expert on transformations in public debate in France. She joined the Institut Montaigne in 2015, where she conducts research on democracy, populist dynamics, and the evolution of political discourse in France and across Europe. Between 2018 and 2021, she held several positions within ministerial cabinets, notably working with the Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation on parliamentary affairs, equal opportunities, and culture. She also served as an advisor to the President of the French National Assembly on cultural and educational issues. A lecturer at Sciences Po, she focuses on the evolution of political discourse under the Fifth Republic. Born in Poland, Daniel Libeskind initially pursued a career in music before turning to architecture. Trained at New York’s Cooper Union School, he embraced deconstructivist theories, heavily influenced by the philosophy of Jacques Derrida. In 1985, Libeskind won the Leone di Petra first prize at the Venice Biennale. In 1988, he participated in the Deconstructivist Architecture exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. From 1988 to 1999, he oversaw the construction of the Jewish Museum in Berlin. Libeskind founded his own firm, Studio Daniel Libeskind, based in Berlin. Since 1994, he has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles, and has also lectured at universities worldwide. His work includes various project, such as the Jewish Museum in San Francisco and the Holocaust Centre in Manchester. Notably, Daniel Libeskind was selected to design the reconstruction of the World Trade Center in New York.
Grace LOUBASSOU

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and HEC, Grace Loubassou began her career at the Central African News Agency (ADIAC) and later at the radio Africa N°1. She joined Canal+ in 2015, where she held various communications roles for international subsidiaries, including Canal+ Congo. In 2017, she was appointed Director of Institutional Relations for Africa. Grace Loubassou will become Canal+’s Director of CSR for Africa effective January 19, 2026. After completing a PhD in law at the University of Pavia and teaching at the Universities of Trento and Parma, Dario Mantovani became Professor of Roman Law in Pavia. Director of the journal Athenaeum and a scientific contributor to several specialized European journals, he has been Vice-President of the International Society of Classical Bibliography since 2020. He directs the CEDANT Research Center (University of Pavia) and leads the ERC project “Redhis,” which aims to shed light on Roman legal culture in Late Antiquity. Alessandro Morbidelli, a planetary scientist at the Côte d’Azur Observatory, is an associate member of the French Academy of Sciences and the Royal Academy of Belgium. He headed the National Planetary Science Programme (PNP) at the CNRS from 2010 to 2018 and has chaired the Solar System thematic group at the CNES since 2019. Since 2021, he has also served as Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Icarus, dedicated to planetary science and founded by Carl Sagan. Wajdi Mouawad, born in Lebanon, is a leading playwright, director, and actor in contemporary theatre. Shaped by experiences of exile — a childhood in Lebanon, adolescence in France, and training in Montreal — he graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1991 and co-founded Théâtre Ô Parleur. He later directed Théâtre de Quat’Sous and established several companies in both Quebec and France. El Mouhoub Mouhoud holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (1991) and is an agrégé in economics (1994). Alexander Neef was born in Germany. He studied Latin philology and modern history at the University of Tübingen. He began his career at the Salzburg Festival before joining the RuhrTriennale, where he oversaw opera, theatre, dance productions, and concerts. In 2004, at the invitation of Gérard Mortier, he joined the Opéra national de Paris as Casting Director and also contributed to programming at the New York City Opera. Alongside his leadership of the Canadian Opera Company, he became the first Artistic Director of the Santa Fe Opera in 2018. Journalist and writer, Christine Ockrent is a specialist in international and European politics. Imam, rector of the Grand Mosque of Bordeaux
Tareq Oubrou is an imam, theologian and essayist, renowned for his reflections on Islam in the West. Born in Morocco to a family of French-speaking teachers, he moved to Bordeaux at the age of 19 to study biology and medicine. However, he soon devoted himself to serving the Muslim community in France and served as an imam in several towns, notably Nantes, Limoges and Pau, before returning to settle permanently in Bordeaux, where he heads the Al Houda Mosque. Alongside his religious activities and his work as a prison chaplain, he developed a theological framework aimed at adapting Muslim practice to a secular society. He is the author of several books, including "Loi d’Allah, loi des hommes" co-written with Leïla Babès in 2002 and "Profession Imam" co-written with Cédric Baylocq and Michaël Privot in 2009. Éric Toledano is a director, screenwriter, and producer. After graduating from high school, he spent a year studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Upon his return, as a brilliant student, he continued his studies and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Literature with a concentration in film, followed by a Master’s degree in Political Science. At the same time, drawn to the art of filmmaking, the young aspiring filmmaker cut his teeth working with director Diane Kurys. Since the 1990s, he has formed a renowned creative partnership with Olivier Nakache. After studying political sociology, he turned to screenwriting and filmmaking. The duo first made a name for themselves with “Nos jours heureux” (2006), a comedy praised for its human and generational perspective. International acclaim came with “Intouchables” (2011), which became one of the biggest hits in French cinema. Their work is characterized by a balance between comedy, emotion, and social commitment. Their films regularly explore themes such as disability, inclusion, immigration, and educational support. Among their notable works are “Samba” (2014), “Le Sens de la fête” (2017), and “Hors Normes” (2019), and more recently, "Juste une illusion" (2026), wich is still in theaters.
